Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated draughtsman intern to join our team. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in draughting and project management, then we want to work with you. Your work will include preparing workshop drawings, overseeing quantity management, improving efficiency through calculated design and preparing cutting list for manufacturing warehouses.

In addition to being an excellent draughtsman, you should have excellent multitasking and organisational abilities. The successful candidate will also be trained to acquire in-depth knowledge of the fire protection industry and the rules and regulations which guide our industry.

Job Requirements:

- Familiarity with AutoCad draughting software
- Familiarity with Revit draughting software (preferred)
- Good understanding of excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a passion for project management
- Outstanding multitasking abilities
- Cope well under pressure
- Proactiveness
- Attention to detail
- Meeting deadlines
- Self-starter

Qualifications and Experience:

- National Senior Certificate (Requisite)
- Current enrolment in an undergraduate course or degree for draughting


Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends
Assisting with daily administrative duties
Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas
Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
Preparing detailed promotional presentations
Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events
Contributing to the creation of mock-ups and social media content

Ability to commute/relocate:

Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Johannesburg, Gauteng: (Internships not available at this time in Gauteng - Relocation to Western / Eastern Cape viable)
